What is The Daniel Challenge?
The Daniel Challenge is designed to give each participant better overall physical, mental, and spiritual health. It is a 10-week Challenge with daily challenges designed to gradually implement better health practices into a person’s lifestyle. The presentations are designed to clearly define each of the 10 principles that are the core of what the Daniel Challenge is all about. The 10 principles make up what we call “The New Life”:

Where can I host The Daniel Challenge?
We have Schools, Universities, Churches, Corporations and more hosting 1-day, 3-day, 10-day, and 10-week Daniel Challenge Events.
What is the Cost of hosting the Daniel Challenge?
The majority of the options we have are FREE. We have prepared all of the materials and we can easily send them to you via email and you can download all of the needed materials to host a successful event.
Costs that you will incur will include those associated with printing postcards, flyers, banners and other desired marketing initiatives. We also have books for that participants can purchase. We are here to help every step of the way.
We also have some options for you to consider to have us assist you with your event. These do have some costs as shown below.
Which option should I choose?
The Daniel Challenge is the message of health in high gear. The time has come when everyone must take control of personal health. The Daniel Challenge helps individuals to do just that. Churches, individuals, students and corporations are taking the challenge to improve their overall health. We offer a variety of Daniel Challenge packages that can assist you in your own personal health goals or for out-reach, in-reach, community health programs and even corporations looking to lower healthcare costs for employees.
5 Options for Hosting The Daniel Challenge:
1. Individual - Personal Weight Loss/Reconditioning/Overall Better Health – “To Look, Feel and Be Better”
Taken from the first chapter of the book of Daniel, where Daniel challenged the authorities to allow him to eat the diet he was accustom to. The Daniel Challenge is a well-rounded approach to reconditioning the entire person – mind, body and spirit – for the purpose of weight loss, mental acuity, discipline and spiritual renewal. Some have gone on short-term diets and called it a Daniel Fast or Diet. But this was not a short-term decision or solution for Daniel and his companions; this was a lifestyle choice, cultivated throughout their young lives. So the Daniel Challenge can be a radical change for the purpose of bringing the total system into balance. However, it is and should be the prelude to a total life-style change.

2. Students – “To Withstand Any Test”
The Daniel Challenge for students takes on special relevance. It is not widely known that Daniel, while a captive in Babylon, was just a teenager entering the equivalent of college when he made a choice that led to success in every aspect of his life. When Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile his temple, it was a decision not just to be healthier than everyone else, but also to have a mental, physical and spiritual fitness that he might be able to withstand any test. Every student will appreciate the challenge results.
With the Daniel Challenge college program, the 10-week program invites students to make similar healthy choices. Through a series of weekly challenges, which include physical and mental feats, students launch into their own personal journey toward obtaining The New Life.

3. Churches: Out-Reach and In-Reach –
“To Prepare The Way…”
Below is listed in order what we have seen is the best way to ensure the success that God has in store for each of us. We strongly encourage each church to use all of the methods but your church can choose any one of the steps that you desire to do.
- Step # 1 - Why Health, Why Now?! - A 1-day Workshop - Many churches are not prepared to receive new believers. Through the Daniel Challenge, we challenge church members to consider the key areas that cause new converts to leave and what are the primary motivators to get people in the doors of your church and keep them there.

- Step #2 - Preparing the Church - In-Reach - In this part two of preparing the church and its members, the church is given a 10-Day Daniel Church Challenge to view the health message in a greater light: Each presentation will be given in light of The Great Controversy Theme. Here, we show that the health message is to be proclaimed with and as a preparation to the Final Third Angel’s Message. Members are also trained to conduct a 10-Day Daniel Challenge for their community, preparatory to an evangelistic reaping meeting.
- Step #3 - Preparing the Field - This should be done in conjunction with step #2. As the church is being prepared, the community will begin to be reached. Bible Workers and Medical Missionaries will be sent prior to the Outreach meetings to go door to door to conduct health surveys and get contacts for Bible studies. During the preparation of the field, we can simultaneously prepare the church and its members (with step #2) for those whom the Lord will soon bring in.
- Step #4 - The Community - Outreach - The Daniel Challenge offers a 10-Day challenge to be facilitated by church members for the community. We provide material and will train you if you desire it. The objective here is to: a) get members involved; b) address immediate health needs of the community and show genuine care; c) build a bridge between initial contact and evangelistic meeting; and, d) share healthy principles which enable potential converts to better assimilate and appropriate the gospel. Healthy cooking demonstrations are included.

Total Daniel Challenge Package that we recommend would include Steps 1 - 4 and bringing in 2 cooks for each night of the Outreach meetings.

- Step #1 - Why Health, Why Now?! - $300 plus travel, room, board-includes workshop materials
- Step #2 - $1200 plus travel, room, board. Includes workshop materials and nightly handout materials for each of the 10 presentations
- Step #3 - Gospel Workers. Includes 2 @ $100/per week/per person.
- Step #4 - Option A. FREE OF CHARGE. We will provide all of the materials and content you will need to host a Daniel Challenge Outreach Program and you can customize them to your needs and liking. The entire Kit will be emailed to you at no cost.
Step #4 - Option B: $1200 plus travel, room, board - We will supply a presenter that has the skills to present the Daniel Challenge to the community and engage them and challenge them to apply The New Life principles and find better health in this life as well as the life to come.
- 2 Cooks for each night of the In-Reach or Outreach $600 per cook for 10-days plus room, board, travel costs. Food costs would be in addition to this and based on number of guests attending. These cooks will prepare a meal each evening and guests will taste these delicious foods.

4. Corporations – “To Increase Productivity, Morale and Innovation and to ultimately Lower Health Insurance Cost”

5. The Daniel Challenge – “Taste and See Tour Partnership”
The Daniel Challenge offers your organization, church, or a constituency of churches an opportunity to partner with us in reaching your city. The Daniel Challenge will come to you with its Taste and See Tour, the message of health on wheels in the form of RVs fully equipped with kitchen facilities.
The Taste and See Tour will go throughout your community or city, sharing samples of delicious, healthy food and 20 minute health lectures. The partnership is simple. When your church or organization is looking to do community outreach or an evangelistic event, we come to your city and go to the streets and compel them to come. We can even park at your church and invite them to your larger, more in depth meeting where more food and information is shared.
Cost: $2000 -Your church or a group of churches can sponsor a Taste and See Tour, plus electrical and water hook up. The Taste & See Tour is a 4-week event typically.
